Quesnel Skyfest welcomes the SkyHawks back to the Airshow! With their addition to our roster, we can now confirm that we have all three of Canada’s Military demonstration teams (The SkyHawks, CF-18 Demo Team and the CF Snowbirds) attending our Canada 150 show!

The SkyHawks are the Canadian Forces Parachute Demonstration Team. Highly visible at airshows, you’ll recognize them by the parachutes decorated with the Canadian Flag. What a great way for Quesnel Skyfest to celebrate Canada 150!

The team was established in 1971 with Major John Hasek as its first commander. Since its inception, the SkyHawks have appeared in more than 4,200 shows world-wide, in front of over 75 million spectators.

The SkyHawks put on a spectacular show, performing close proximity aerobatic parachute formations that require high levels of skill and courage!

Supported by the Canadian Army, the SkyHawks are based out of Trenton, Ontario, at the Canadian Army Advanced Warfare Centre. From both Regular and Reserve Forces, the team members are from various occupations of the Army, Navy, and Air Force and bring a wide range of experience to their performances.
